Hosted by Morgan Greenwood, The Lyric Lodge + Inn Yoga Retreat blends movement and music for a unique retreat experience that is both soothing and inspiring.


Join us for four days and three nights of yoga, sound-based meditation practices, body-nourishing food, and community in the foothills of Middle Tennessee less than an hour from Music City and 15 minutes from historic Leiper's Fork.


You'll stay at a resort-like property fully renovated with farmhouse style decor, a heated saltwater in-ground swimming pool, a wraparound porch overlooking the gorgeous Harpeth Creek, and a Creekside grass pavilion.

What's Included in the Retreat?

The Lyric Lodge + Inn Yoga Retreat blends music and movement for a four-day, three-night getaway that's equal parts soothing and inspiring.

4-day, 3-night accommodations

The Lyric Lodge + Inn is a private home nestled near Harpeth Creek, just 45 minutes from Music City a.k.a. Nashville, TN.

SIX 60-MINUTE ALL-LEVEL YOGA CLASSES

 A total of six yoga classes will be offered; each class suitable for all levels. (Yes, beginners, too!) Featured class styles include slow flow, restorative, and vinyasa.

FOUR SOUND-BASED MEDITATION ACTIVITIES

Some of Nashville's finest local talent will be sharing their gifts throughout the retreat. Without spoiling a few surprises, activities include a 15-minute sound bath, tea ceremony, and songwriting workshop.

EIGHT NOURISHING MEALS

Your retreat includes three healthy dinners, two lunches, and three breakfasts all served family-style by Chef DeMarco of GratiDude Ranch. Food allergies and preferences can be accommodated. 

OPTIONAL LOCAL HIKE

Just 15 minutes from the Lodge, Timberland Park sits on 72 acres off the Natchez Trace Parkway. The Park features a 2000 sq ft interpretive center, hiking, bird watching, and wildlife observation (deer, raccoon, fox, hawks, wild turkey). The Inman Hollow Loop trail is a moderate 2.2-mile hike through gorgeous fall foliage. An ADA-accessible trail is also available. It meanders through the woods past several benches, a picnic area, and eventually to an overlook pavilion. Your retreat includes a ride to and from the park as well as a guided hike.

OPTIONAL LIVE MUSIC VENUE VISIT

The Lyric Lodge + Inn is less than 15 minutes from downtown Leiper's Fork, home to local live music staple, Fox + Locke. A ride to and from this charmer of a venue is included for any attendees interested in a short trip on Saturday evening.

What's NOT Included in the Retreat?

A few important notes about what is NOT included in the cost of your retreat:

AIRFARE, TRAVEL TO AND FROM THE LYRIC LODGE AND IN

The cost of your retreat does not include airfare, nor does it include travel to and from the airport.

FOOD AND DRINK AT FOX + LOCKE

While a ride to and from Fox + Locke will be provided, attendees who choose to participate in this optional outing will be responsible for food and beverage purchases during the excursion.

OPTIONAL BODY WORK APPOINTMENT

Would you like to treat yourself to a massage during your retreat? We know a great licensed massage therapist. Please note, our massage therapist is male and we are unable to provide female therapists. Should you like to book an appointment, there is an option at checkout to add this service on to the cost of your retreat.

During this time, we'll get you checked in and show you to your room. Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to arrive after 4:15pm so that we can accommodate you.

Return to the Guest House for a very slow, very soothing restorative yoga session. There's little active movement in this session. If the pace were a music genre, it'd be classical. Poses will be restful and we will hold them for several minutes at a time. Class will wrap with a 15-minute sound bowl sound bath.

FAQ

Where is the Lyric Lodge + Inn?

Lyric Lodge & Inn at GratiDude Ranch is located 45 minutes from downtown Nashville and 10 minutes from historic Leiper's Fork in the city of Franklin, Tennessee. The address will be shared upon booking completion. 

Where do I park?

If you are arriving in your own personal vehicle, there are five marked parking spaces on-site, with a long driveway to accommodate several more vehicles.

Is there a minimum age for attendees?

This event is limited to participants aged 18 years and up with no exceptions.

What should I bring?

All registered participants will receive a list of specific items to bring, but think clothes for practicing yoga, lounging, walking, swimming, and, if you choose, going to lunch and dinner at local outdoor restaurants. Yoga mats and props are optional as we will have them available on-site.

Is there laundry on-site?

Yes! A washer and dryer are available to share with your fellow retreat attendees.  

What if I don't know anyone else attending?

First, be prepared to make friends! Second, we have private and or shared room options. If you would like to share a room, we will work with you to find a match.

What is there to do in the Franklin, Tennessee-area?

Your retreat is located is only 8 miles from historic Leiper's Fork Village, less than 20 miles south of Historic Downtown Franklin, TN, approx 10 minutes from the well-known Loveless Cafe, and approx 45 minutes from downtown Nashville. What?!?

For out of town guests, Fox & Locke has live music almost every night (our itinerary includes one visit!). The Loveless Cafe offers amazing breakfast. Meridees and Frothy Monkey are favorites as well in downtown Franklin. Whatever you want - you can find! There are numerous antique shops, a rare books store, a few upscale art galleries, a fabulous day spa, and plenty more small town shops await you in the community of Leiper's Fork.

Can couples or friends share one room?

We have two room options for couples looking to attend the retreat together, the Zen Suite and the Private Room. These are subject to availability. Booking either room for single occupancy (one participant) is $1949. When shared, the retreat cost per person for each of these accommodations drops to $1749 per person for a $400 savings. 

We have multiple room options for friends looking to share a room, but not a bed. Creekside and Terrace Rooms have two twin beds. Retreat cost per person for each of these accommodations is $1549 when booked individually. When two friends book at the same time to share either room, the retreat cost per person is $1449 for a $200 savings.

Last, we have the Creekview Suite. This Suite has one king bed and a bunk bed with two twin mattresses. This is offered as the "Best Friend's experience". This booking is our best deal at $4647, which is $600 off what the retreat would cost for three people to book separately. 

May I bring my dog?

Doggos are the best, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate them at the retreat.

What is the food situation?

It’s good. Fresh, healthy, chef-prepared meals will be served daily for a total of three dinners, two lunches, and three breakfasts. Meals are served family-style and feature fruits, veggies, grains, chicken, turkey, and/or fish.

What if I have a food allergy?

Please contact your sister-in- inflammatory-responses-to-certain- foods, Morgan Greenwood, at morgan@morgangreenwoodyoga.com so we can find out how to best accommodate you.

Is alcohol allowed at the retreat?

Alcohol is welcome at the retreat, drunkeness is not. 

What if I am registered but can no longer make the event?

The Private Suite

The Saloon features a queen-size Murphy bed, half bath and, yes, a pool table. It can accommodate 1 guest. While the room itself is private and there is a half bath, the Saloon guest can use the shower upstairs in Pond View room.

The Zen Suite

The Zen Suite has a king bed that can convert to 2 twins and has a dedicated bath that is just outside in the hallway. This suite also includes a living room area with a fireplace and TV. The creekview Suite - The BFFs Experience

This upstairs private suite has a king bed as well as a bunk bed with a trundle twin bed. This suite has a private luxury bath with a gorgeous walk-in shower.

Private sliding doors walk you out to the wraparound porch overlooking the creek to enjoy your morning coffee or evening whiskey.

Book this room for yourself and two friends and SAVE! Room would normally be $1689 per person, but cost is brought down to $1489 per person.

The Terrace Room

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy below applies to the Lyric Lodge + Inn Yoga Retreat 2024 (the Retreat) to be held Thursday, September 5th, 2024 at 3:30PM CST through Sunday, September 8th, 2024 at 10AM CST.

Please note, this cancellation policy has been crafted to be as compassionate as possible in the event registered participants’ plans change, while also understanding our commitment to and the cancellation policies of our vendors.

Cancellation by Participant

For USA retreats, for cancellations made more than three months prior to the retreat start date [Wednesday, June 5th, 2024], any payments made may either be transferred to a friend or family member, or to another retreat that is currently open for registration on the Morgan Greenwood Yoga website, within 7 days of your cancellation email. Please note: there is no guarantee that another retreat is currently open for registration. If you are unable to transfer payment to a friend or family member and you cannot transfer payment to an upcoming retreat, you lose your nonrefundable deposit.

For cancellations made three months or less prior to the retreat start date, any payments made may be transferred to a friend or family member. If you cannot transfer payment, all payments will be forfeited and you should contact your travel insurance company for reimbursements.

Morgan Greenwood Yoga cannot refund any payments for any reason, for this reason, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Travel insurance can be purchased at Insure My Trip.

Although refunds are not offered for the Retreat, for cancellations made up to two months before the Retreat start date, registration may be transferred to a friend or family member. Should the original registered participant choose to transfer their registration, that transfer request must be submitted in writing to morgan@morgangreenwoodyoga.com. The email must include the following:

  • The name of the originally registered participant
  • The date of retreat purchase
  • The name of the individual registration will be transferred to
  • The email address of the individual registration will be transferred to
  • The phone number of the individual registration will be transferred to

DELAYS AND OTHER UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

Please note that Morgan Greenwood Yoga will not be held responsible for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience that may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control (ie: late arrival/departure of flights, civil disturbance, fire, flood, cyclones, severe weather, acts of God, and acts of government, machinery or equipment failure, or cancellations for any reason. No refunds will be given for “no shows” or days not used resulting from the above aforementioned. For participants traveling from out of town, purchasing travel insurance is highly recommended.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance can protect participants against participant cancellation, Morgan Greenwood Yoga cancellation, lost or delayed baggage, medical expenses, and the cost of repatriation should the participant become ill or injured. It is strongly recommended that all participants purchase travel insurance, including a 'cancel for any reason' option in order to protect them against the rare chance of cancellation. Travel insurance can be purchased at Insure My Trip.

CANCELLATION BY MORGAN GREENWOOD

In the rare event of a cancellation by Morgan Greenwood Yoga due to low registrations, the participant will be given the option to receive a full refund. Morgan Greenwood Yoga cannot compensate participants for airfare, lodging, and travel costs incurred.

In the rare event of a cancellation by Morgan Greenwood Yoga due to dangerous weather, civil unrest, acts of god, and other force majeure events, any refund provided will depend on Morgan Greenwood Yoga receiving a refund from the venue. Morgan Greenwood Yoga will not be held responsible for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience that may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control (ie: late arrival/departure of flights, civil disturbance, fire, flood, cyclones, severe weather, acts of God, and acts of government, machinery or equipment failure, or cancellations for any reason and cannot compensate participants for airfare, lodging, and travel costs incurred.

RETREAT CHANGES

Morgan Greenwood Yoga reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary by its team, leaders, teachers, or business partners while staying committed to providing like-value to registered participants.

INCLUSION POLICY

Morgan Greenwood Yoga does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity). Potential participants who cannot accept this inclusion policy should not register.

Morgan Greenwood Yoga reserves the right to refuse or cancel any participant's registration for reasons related to this Inclusion Policy including, but not limited to, displays of harassment and discrimination on registered participants’ social media profiles or other outlets.

In this case, a full refund will be provided.
